Small Nothing

I’ve been taking photographs of ‘dead’ animals since moving to North Fife in 2008. I now live in Edinburgh and I rarely encounter dead animals in the street.

The series is entitled Small Nothing.

The photographs depict a once-living-animal in a state of transformation. Hence the question: who or what is the ‘subject’ of these photographs?
